Atlantic chub mackerel is a medium-sized pelagic fish. During the winter months, it’s found in deeper waters, but in warmer temperatures schools of Atlantic chub mackerel are found in warm and temperate transition waters.
Atlantic chub mackerel is harvested all year round in the Eastern Central Atlantic (FAO 34), off the coast of West Africa.

Also known as coley or Atlantic pollock, saithe can be found around off-shore wrecks and reefs.
Slow-growing, redfish matures after 14 years – and can sometimes live up to 75.
Being pelagic commander squid can be found at depths of 1000 meters. Berryteuthis magister is among the most numerous squid species recorded.
Similar to sardine, sardinella are more brightly coloured when freshly caught.
A smaller relative of cod, Alaska pollock is part of one of the world’s largest commercial fisheries in the North Pacific.
