RUSSIAN POLLOCK CATCHERS ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES A WEBSITE FOR ALASKA POLLOCK
Pollock Catchers Association (PCA), the association of most Russian Alaska pollock harvesters, has launched a new website to promote sustainably sourced Alaska pollock.
The website provides information on sustainability of Alaska Pollock fisheries, management of the stocks and ecosystems and latest news on all developments in the field. All up-to-date information and statistics on Pollock stocks are provided by major research institutions from the Far East area.
This website is launched in association with Russian Federal Agency for Fishery, Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), Pacific Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (TINRO), Kamchatkan Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (KamNIRO) and Sakhalin Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (SakhNIRO).
